 Still happy, playful, healthy and hopeful, 14 year old Socks was left at the shelter. I noticed her when our eyes met as I passed by her kennel yesterday. I hate to say it, but her chances of being adopted are slim. She's been waiting a long time. Update: Rescued!

Thank you for your beautiful portrait of Socks. I'm a volunteer at the WLA Shelter, and it's so hard to see all dogs living in a small concrete kennel. But I'm particularly saddest for seniors. They deserve better in their Golden years! Your comment will be posted after it is approved.
